I've built close relationships with many of the largest technology companies (despite being market competitors) to ensure that smart home journeys can be consistent and useful to millions of users, no matter what phone or platform they are on.
I'm a member of the Connectivity Standards Alliance, contributing to work on cutting edge smart-home standards, like Matter. Together with many smart-home critical companies - making smart lights, vacuums, sensors, and more - we work together to ideate around the future of smart home.
I've worked with companies like TikTok, Snapchat, and Meta to implement Pixel specific capabilities, and enable entertaining and enriching social media experiences that impact millions.
I managed the launch of Assassin's Creed Odyssey as a featured Stadia launch title - working directly with the Game Devs at Ubisoft, through publishing, graphics, store, and playability issues. I sat with Ubisoft's Release Management team during the 2019 launch, ensuring success down to the final hour and beyond.
I worked with the incredibly dedicated dev teams in Kyiv, Bucharest, and Toronto for over 2 years, meeting milestones and ultimately overseeing a successful on-time launch - including a Stadia-exclusive feature which the partner was not obligated to deliver [and reddit loved it]. The Kyiv studio worked through tough times to continue to launch several more Far Cry titles on Stadia.
I worked with the Rider's Republic team for over a year on this game. This launch was complicated by last-minute graphical issues, but I was able to facilitate releasing a 1080p version on our planned launch day, with the 4K version as a fast follow. The launch was successful and well received, and Google was able to trial instant gameplay alongside it.
I managed Google Geo/Cloud relationship with Disney for 3 years. Through this time, we launched new wayfinding experiences in My Disney Experience, mapped new park areas, tested styling features for our core APIs, and are currently scoping an immersive game-like experience in Tiny Unity.
I worked with Ludia to build Jurassic World Alive - the first game on the Google Maps Unity SDK, which was launched in Summer of 2018. Our close relationship made Ludia one of our most vocal and active partners, testing new features and providing regular feedback to our team.
I helped ICON navigate technical changes for their immersive biking experience in which a rider can move through a virtual city, experience haptic elevation changes, and imagery based on speed. Icon is still actively using Google Maps APIs despite price increases.
From 2016 - 2019, I worked with Tesla, implementing a custom set of APIs for their use. In 2018, they successfully rolled out the new in-car Maps - using our vector map tiles - to Tesla's entire fleet. They are still an active maps partner.
Yelp anticipated performance problems due to a change in Google's geocoding infrastructure - But by recommending specific architecture, I was able to mitigate those performance issues, delight the customer, and increase Yelp's commitment to Google Maps.
Verizon is one of Maps most diverse accounts. I worked with them on everything from debugging their store locator, to presenting upcoming features at the executive level. I helped them with internal network monitoring, coverage maps, store locators, and fleet management.
Vancouver was an early partner in in Google's foray into Urban Mobility. Our relationship was strong due to frequent contact, investment in their priorities, and mutual goals. I still keep in touch with this team despite having changed roles.
The NY/NJ Port Authority was one of our most vocal partners in conceptualizing product possibilities with Geo's data. Having developed this relationship, I regularly met with their operations leads to solicit feedback, and log bugs/FRs
Our relationship with Dublin City Council thrived despite fatigue from many product pivots. Working with their smart cities team, I attended events such as the Harvard Smart City Innovation Accelerator (Google Hosted), and a payments summit with Montreal RTM and Deloitte.
